Arguably the greatest client host ever!

Tuesday 24th November 2015

Mo hath returned! So Mo isn’t as much a new starter as the others mentioned on this page, but she has returned after a short leave of absence to her role of Client Host. Mo has always worked in client facing industries, including marketing, PR and private healthcare. She started her career working as a copywriter in a B2B agency and soon progressed into office management and hosting.

She has worked in agencies up and down the country, from Cheshire to Cambridge, providing her with a wide range of experience in customer service and an insight into the workings of a variety of agencies. She has also gained enough experience in a variety of roles to be able to support our teams as well as our clients and has been supporting us all here at Journey since January 2015.

If you could stay in any hotel in the world, which would it be and why?

The Mayflower in Beirut. It’s a small family owned hotel that’s been run by the same family since 1957. They have hosted such diverse people as Kim Philby and Graham Greene, and became a sanctuary for foreign journalists during the 1970’s and 80’s. I have stayed there many times and the welcome is truly special.

What is the most enjoyable element of your role?

Welcoming such an interesting cross section of clients and working with a really special team of people – no two days are the same!

What is your favourite season to travel?

I always travel in the off season. I prefer to go when there are not so many tourists almost everywhere you go. With the tourists gone you get a much more authentic experience.

The golden question…tell us something about yourself!

I love a Cosmopolitan and collecting orthodox icons – now there’s a mixture! I also hate having my feet touched!
